Karl Baldwin - Principal & Director
Karl has over 20 years of planning and environmental management experience in New Zealand. Karl's expertise lie in managing projects for land use and subdivision and identifying solutions to a client's needs.Karl prides himself on providing clients with cost effective, yet practical advice and guidance to clients. During his time as a Resource Management Planner, Karl has been involved in a wide variety of primary industry, town planning, subdivision and land use development projects.
Moving from the Coromandel Peninsula to Cambridge in 2007, Karl focussed on expanding the KTB Planning practice. Karl is highly regarded as an expert in Resource Management Planning and regularly appears for clients in local authority Hearings and Environment Court proceedings.
Donna Jones - Principal Environmental Planner
Donna has worked in the field of environmental planning and resource management for more than 17 years.She has extensive experience in project management of environmental investigations, assessments of effects, and preparation of resource consent applications.Donna has a particular interest in infrastructure projects, including water supply, wastewater and stormwater management.She has a Master's of Science and Technology degree, and in addition to regional council experience has worked as a consultant hydrogeologist.
Donna has been with KTB Planning since 2015, and compliments our team with a particular focus on managing multidisciplinary resource consent applications with an environmental focus.
Christina Walker - Senior Planner
Christina has an extensive history in both local government and the planning and regulatory environment. Having spent the last five years as a Consents Planner at the Waipa District Council, Christina brings to the team a wealth of local knowledge and experience, along with a detailed understanding of the relevant legislative requirements.
Christina has well established relationships with key stakeholders across various professions in the Waipa and Waikato areas. Her specialist areas include applications for mixed use developments, urban and greenfield subdivisions, industrial, commercial and residential developments.
All of this means Christina is well placed to assist you with turning your ideas into a reality. Her superb, customer focused approach, means you will always be fully informed of the process, requirements and risks and opportunities associated with your project.
Sean Hollands - Resource Planner
Sean is our Natural Resource Planner. He specialises in various regional consenting requirements for earthworks, water and stormwater management, farming & forestry, quarries and other large infrastructure projects.
Having previously worked as an Environmental Manager and Technical Advisor for Solid Energy and Downers , he is well placed to help our clients navigate though these various consenting requirements.
Emily Hunt - Planner
Emily has 4 years of planning experience working in both district and regional government. During her time in local government she has been involved in a range of land use and subdivision consents, and has experience across both the rural and urban environments. Her Council experience and relationships enable her to effectively assist clients in navigating the Council’s planning process. This, coupled with her bachelor's degree in environmental science from the University of Waikato, means she brings a wide set of skills and expertise to KTB Planning.
Sarah Osborne - Planner
Sarah is a recent graduate from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Environmental Planning. She is rapidly gaining extensive experience in the preparation of land use and subdivision projects.
